Chocolate Chip & Oatmeal Protein Cookies

A delicious way to enjoy your favorite cookies with a little bit of a protein kick! No one will ever know that these delicious oatmeal "cookies" are actually protein packed treats! Yum!
Ingredients

1/2 cup Earths Balance buttery spread, softened

1 cup packed brown sugar

½ C Growing Naturals Original Protein Powder for the extra protein kick you need mid-day or in the am!

2 eggs

2 Cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
-
3 cups quick oats/ instant oats
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
1 Cup semi-sweet choc chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar and the room temp earths buttery spread with a mixer until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well, and scraping the sides of the bowl down with a spatula.
Gently sprinkle in the flour, protein powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg into the creamed mixture. Then gently fold in the oats.
Line your cookie sheets with foil or parchment paper. Using a 1 or 2 teaspoons, gently form 1 inch balls and drop the dough on to the lined cookie sheet.
Place into the pre-heated 350 degree oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove after 8-10 minutes, and cool completely before removing from the tray. Enjoy!
