Primary Nutrition Ingredients

These are the core nutritional ingredients used in one or more Growing Naturals products.

Organic Brown Rice Protein — Oryzatein®

Used in: Rice Protein products, AM Energy

Our signature brown rice protein, concentrated to 80% protein and enzymatically extracted using a chemical-free, low-heat, organic process. Smooth, allergen-friendly, and clinically studied to support muscle recovery and gains after strength exercise.

Pea Protein — VegOtein™

Used in: Pea Protein products, AM Energy

An 80% protein plant protein made from non-GMO yellow field peas grown in North America and extracted using a chemical-free mechanical process. Naturally rich in lysine and arginine, it’s highly digestible, environmentally friendly, and mild in flavor with a creamy texture — perfect on its own or paired with rice protein.

Organic Inulin

Used in: AM Energy

Inulin is a naturally occurring prebiotic fiber that supports digestive health and gut microbiome balance.

Natural Caffeine

Used in: AM Energy

Derived from the beans of the Coffea Robusta plant, natural caffeine is used to support alertness and energy without synthetic stimulants.

Green Tea Extract

Used in: AM Energy

A concentrated extract from 100% green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis L.), naturally rich in EGCG, a powerful antioxidant catechin that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

🧬 Added Vitamins & Minerals

Vitamins and minerals are added only to the AM Energy formula.

Vitamin & Mineral Blend

Used in: AM Energy

• Calcium (as dicalcium phosphate) – Supports healthy teeth and skeletal structure
• Magnesium (as magnesium oxide) – Supports heart rhythm, blood pressure regulation, blood sugar balance, brain function, and hundreds of biochemical processes
• Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) – Supports immune function, wound healing, and healthy skin and connective tissue
• Vitamin E (as di-alpha-tocopheryl acetate) – An antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress
• Biotin – A B-complex vitamin that supports energy metabolism and healthy hair and nails
• Vitamin B3 (as niacinamide) – Supports energy production, skin, liver, eye, and nervous system health
• Zinc (as zinc oxide) – Supports immune health, wound healing, and normal growth and development

Used in: Chocolate Rice Protein, Chocolate Pea Protein, AM Energy

All-natural and rich in flavor, this cocoa powder is a common plant-based source of beneficial flavonoids and adds delicious chocolate taste to our protein blends.

Organic Coconut Palm Sugar

Used in: AM Energy, Vanilla Pea Protein, Chocolate Pea Protein

A sustainable, allergen-friendly sugar from coconut palm sap, lightly sweetening our proteins while complementing their natural flavor and texture.

Natural Vanilla Flavor

Used in: Vanilla Rice Protein, Vanilla Pea Protein

A plant-based, non-GMO flavoring that adds clean, natural vanilla taste. Like recipes at a bakery, the exact formulation is proprietary, but it uses allergen-free carriers (such as tapioca flour) and natural extracts to deliver flavor safely, without artificial ingredients. This is what distinguishes a pure vanilla bean flavor from a “French vanilla” style flavor.

A natural plant fiber that helps improve mixability and mouthfeel.

Organic Guar Gum

Used in: Chocolate Rice Protein

Used in small amounts to enhance texture and smoothness.

Sea Salt

Used in: Vanilla Rice, Chocolate Rice, Chocolate Pea, AM Energy

Added in very small amounts to balance and enhance flavor.

Organic Rice Syrup Solids

Used in: Vanilla and Original Rice Proteins

A mild, naturally sweet ingredient used in small amounts to support texture and flavor. 

Organic Stevia

Used in: Vanilla and Chocolate Pea Proteins

A plant-based, zero-calorie sweetener that enhances natural taste without added sugar.

Organic Sunflower Oil

Used in: Original Rice Protein

A small amount of organic sunflower oil powder is added to reduce natural foaming when mixing. Amounts are minimal, with no impact on nutrition.
