Vitamins & Minerals The American Dairy Association leaves viewers thinking that riboflavin (vitamin B2), calcium carbonate, and zinc gluconate are bad things, when these are just the scientific names of essential vitamins and minerals. Funny thing is... riboflavin and calcium are naturally occurring in dairy milk, so dairy manufacturers are not required to list these on their ingredients panel.
