Vegan Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie
1 large banana, frozen (see note for keto or paleo version)
1 large handful of spinach leaves
½ cup almond milk or your choice milk
1.5 scoops Growing Naturals vanilla pea protein
4-5 drops peppermint extract
1 Tbsp dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips (or your choice choco chips)
Add all ingredients in the order listed (minus chocolate chips) into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
Then add choco chips and pulse a few times so they get chopped into smaller bits.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
For a Keto or Paleo version, swap the banana for a small hass avocado. Also, consider using dark chocolate chips or using 1/2 tbsp for lower sugar content.
