Ingredients

3 ounces pitted medjool dates (about 6 medium)

3-1/2 Tablespoons Growing Naturals Chocolate Rice Drink+ Powder, divided

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, divided

1 tablespoon coconut oil or palm oil

Generous pinch salt
Directions
- Place the dates in a bowl and cover with hot water.
In a food processor: Drain dates and add them to a food processor with 3 tablespoons chocolate RiceDrink+ powder, 1/2 tablespoon ground flaxseed, the coconut or palm oil, and salt. Process until thoroughly pureed.
By hand: Drain the dates and mash them with a fork in the bowl. Add 3 tablespoons chocolate RiceDrink+ powder, 1/2 tablespoon ground flaxseed, the coconut or palm oil, and salt. Continue to mash with a fork until relatively smooth and well combined.
- Place the mixture in the freezer for 15 minutes to set-up.
Whisk together the remaining 1/2 tablespoon chocolate RiceDrink+ powder and 1/2 tablespoon ground flaxseed in a small dish.
- Remove the date mixture from the freezer, and roll it into 9 small balls.
Roll the balls in the dry RiceDrink+ mixture, shaking off any excess.
Store snack balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.
