Healthy Apple Cinnamon Protein Cookies

Super easy with only 8 ingredients. No flour, no oil and extra protein to make these super healthy!
Ingredients

1 ¼ cup rolled oats

1 ½ cups fresh diced apple (approximately 2 small or 1 med/large apple)

½ cup Growing Naturals vanilla Rice Protein, unpacked (can substitute with vanilla pea protein, or use half vanilla rice /half vanilla pea blend)

½ cup apple sauce, unsweetened

½ cup egg whites
-
1 tbsp ground flaxseed

2 tsp cinnamon
-
dash of salt (add to taste)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl until thoroughly combined.
Use a spoon to scoop out small cookie size amounts onto the parchment paper. Using the back of the spoon, press them down gently to get them about ½ inch thick, leaving ½ to 1 inch between each.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until they look dry and golden.
Let cool for 5 minutes, then enjoy!
