Tropical Mango Pineapple and Turmeric SmoothieTurmeric powder contains curcumin, a powerful anti-inflammatory and lovely complement to these tropical flavors.  However, the body doesn’t absorb curcumin very well unless it’s paired with piperine, the major compound in black pepper. So take this smoothie with 1-2 peppercorns. (Yep, just swallow them whole with water or smoothie–you wont even taste them.) 🙂

Directions

Place all ingredients except protein powders into a blender and blend until smooth.  Then add the protein powders and blend again until thoroughly mixed. Pour and enjoy!
