Bubble Girl Bakes

Kait Turshen, also known as Bubble Girl, (www.bubblegirlbakes.com),  is the founder of BG Bakes. After spending a decade plagued with constant fatigue, nausea, anxiety, depression, and weight fluctuation, she finally uncovered the reason for her continual state of misery. It turned out that she had over twenty food allergies and a gluten intolerance that she’d never known about. It explained everything! Since then, she was known as Bubble Girl.

Rather than retreating to a bubble, “Bubble Girl” started baking and blogging, dedicating herself to developing gluten free, allergy friendly, vegan recipes to satisfy her ever-nagging sweet tooth. With the overwhelmingly positive response to the blog, she realized that she wasn’t the only “Bubble” person out there. Over 15 million Americans suffer from food allergies, 1 in every 13 children.

Paired with the rapidly growing number of people leading gluten free lifestyles, Kait knew there were many lives to be touched and helped in the kitchen. Her inspiration to help other “Bubble” people led her to leave her career in the fashion industry and develop BG Bakes’ first product, Gluten Free Allergy Friendly All-Purpose Flour.

I couldn’t live without my Growing Naturals Rice Protein Powder! Not only is it gluten free, allergy friendly, and vegan, it tastes great and is so versatile. I uses it in everything, from smoothies and sludges to brownies and donuts.
