Project Description
Requires high powered blender
Soak 2 ¼ cups raw almonds for 12-24 hours, rinsing very well and then placing into a blender and adding 8 cups of good water with ¼ tsp sea salt, 1 tsp coconut oil and ¼ tsp of ground vanilla. Blend on low for 20 seconds and then on high for 20 seconds, repeating 3 times. Pour almond milk through a fine mesh strainer or nut milk fine mess screened bag and then cover and refrigerate it. You can dehydrate the almond pulp and once dried, pulverize it into almond flour by using a food processor with and S blade.
Enjoy this as base of smoothies, shakes, dressings, soups, serials and just drinking it by itself.
